How needapc makes money — and why it never changes your matches.
needapc may earn a commission when you buy through links to retailers on this site. If you follow one of our links and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a small referral fee. It costs you nothing extra.
This never affects which laptops we recommend. Matches are scored on your answers — your budget, what you’ll use the laptop for, and how you carry it — never on commission. Nothing is ranked because a retailer pays more, and nothing is hidden because it pays less.
We’re retailer-agnostic. Today most of our links point to Amazon UK, but we plan to add other retailers over time. Whichever shop a link leads to, the promise is the same: scored, not sponsored. The recommendation engine only ever sees the laptop’s specs and your answers.
If a laptop’s price changes, we update the price we show — but re-pricing never re-ranks your results. The match score reflects fit, not the affiliate arrangement behind any particular link.
